I played small shows in cen-tex but advanced the most in performance during the YWAM School Of Worship in 2006. Before that, I had a heavy case of stage fright. During my SOW, I traveled to Canada & played several times a week for two months. I didn’t have time to be afraid. I never thought it would really become anything. Well, I kept playing… like the sun keeps rising and setting. I grew up in Hawai’i; since I already belong to a pretty exclusive club of Bad-Ass Bass Players Across America, I was not without opportunity within the small music community in Hawai’i. Later, I moved to the “Main Land” (the consecutive 48 States) to go to film school. I ended up in Denver, started playing with an exceptional drummer like Gary Russell, and my bass chops will never be the same!” |
